Search Carsensor and Goo-net for a JDM car: a link builder

Most cars at dealers in Japan are listed on two Japanese sites, Carsensor and Goo-net. Both are in Japanese, and getting from "I want an EK9" to a list of EK9s is the fiddly part. This page gives you a ready-made Carsensor search for each car below, narrowed to the right generation, and lets you narrow it to a prefecture. For Goo-net it gives you the clicks to make instead, because Goo-net asks other sites to link only to its home page. We don't copy any listings here; you see them on the sites themselves. And on either site, photos show less than you think.

How to use it

1. Pick the car.
2. Pick where to look: all of Japan, the three prefectures we mainly cover in person (Aichi, Gifu and Mie), or one of them.
3. Open the Carsensor link, or go to Goo-net's home page and make the clicks shown. The site will be in Japanese; your browser's translate button helps.

If the link builder doesn't load, the table still works: each Carsensor link searches all of Japan, and the last column of each row is the clicks to make on Goo-net.

What we found when we tried it

On 4 October 2026 we opened every Carsensor link in the table and checked that each one lands on the generation named. On Goo-net we searched for the Civic Type R with the model code EK9: 37 cars across Japan, 4 of them in Gifu, Aichi or Mie. That's the point of the region choice. A car in those three prefectures is one we can arrange to go and look at, if the dealer agrees.

Reading what you find

What this doesn't do

• It doesn't fetch or copy listings. The links open the sites; nothing is collected here, and nothing you choose is sent to us or stored.
• The years are Carsensor's grouping, not the maker's. Carsensor groups its searches by generation and labels each with a range of months. The maker's own dates are in our model guides. The EG6 row searches every fifth-generation Civic, because Carsensor doesn't split out the SiR; on Goo-net, the model code EK9 or EG6 narrows it exactly.
• It only covers the cars in the table. They're the cars we have guides for. For anything else, search the sites directly.
• Links can stop working if either site changes how its searches are built. The date the table was last checked is under it.
• It doesn't judge the cars or the dealers. A search result is a list of what dealers have put up for sale.
